CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Co-curricular activities are the true and practical experiences received by students. It develops various domains of mind and personality like intellectual, emotional, social, moral, aesthetic, creativity, enthusiasm and positive thinking. Considering the positive value of co-curricular activities, Tamulpur College keeps provisions for numerous platforms to encourage and affirm the active participation of students. To address and help the students access such important output of co-curricular activities, the college has formed various committees like Games & Sports Committee, Literary Committee. Cultural Committee, Extension Service Cell etc. Along with the college authority, such committees/cells plan and execute various events for the benefit of students every year. The college arranges and provides necessary facilities to students to encourage and nurture their interests in various co-curricular activities in the field of sports, literature, culture etc. Besides these, the college also provides a platform to its students with the nation of making them social and helping them to acquire social skills through various extension activities every year. Such activities promote social, educational and leadership skills among the students. As the college is situated in the rural area, there is ample scope for executing extension activities that enhance students’ capability as well as contribute to society. The college has an Extension Cell in order to plan and execute various social activities. Besides cell, the departments of the college also conduct various social services in and around the area.
